September has been a busy month starting off with the Commerical UAV Expo and Conference show at the Ceasars Forum in Las Vegas. From the time we left Philadelphia to landing at LAS McCarren Airport we saw lots of friends and industry colleagues along the way. Once again, my wingman Ray Adams and I were joined by Joe "JOE Mo" Molineaux to spread the word about locating your company in beautiful Cape May, NJ.
Spending two full days of walking the show floor and the after-show networking events makes this trip worthwhile. It's always good to see our friends and colleagues in person. In the age of virtual meetings, there is something to be said about meeting face to face.
If you haven't been to Commercial UAV, I highly encourage you to attend. It is filled with industry professionals, displays of new technology, and a lot of learning sessions. This year the hot topic was the proposed FAA Part 108 rules that will allow for beyond visual line of sight flight operations.
If you have a chance, be sure to check out our interview with David Lewin from Echodyne Radars. Davis interviewed Ray, Joe, and I to discuss the happenings surrounding the Cape Atlantic Test Site and the activities we've conducted. See the link below. If we're not already connected reach out to me on LinkedIn to stay up to date on current topics affecting the public safety UAS industry.
